i know you got jumped on by a lot of people and it can be really intimidating
the thing is we honestly have to deal with this stuff 24/7 and it can be irritating to the point where we lash out at even well-intentioned folks
it’s like… think of it…
Can’t we all just get along? Why do the labels created by a certain faction of people have to be applied to people who do not wish to have those labels pushed on them? Why must the “unpopular” opinion about the useage of labels and their application of them to those who do not wish for said labels be so lashed out against?
What gives anyone the right to lash out at an opinion on how someone takes bad treatment by dehumanizing themselves with a label instead of a name?
Is this really what some people would see Tumblr reduced to? Labeling people who don’t wish to be labeled, and then attacking them to a point they stop speaking to their boyfriend, causing him to worry, when they talk about how their opinion on these labels?
Is this what you would see Tumblr reduced to? A festering ball of hatred toward anyone who disagrees with your ideals?
